OUR STORY

Founded in 1987, ATA-NC is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting awareness of Turkish culture and sharing Turkish heritage within the Triangle community and throughout the state of North Carolina. ATA-NC is a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation. ATA-NC is dedicated to:
-
promoting a closer understanding of and further cultural relations among the peoples of Turkey and the state of North Carolina,
-
disseminating information concerning life and work in the state of North Carolina and Turkey,
-
furthering the interests of the Turkish American community in the state of North Carolina,
-
cooperating with institutions, organizations or individuals engaged in similar activities in North Carolina and Turkey.

We have members from all over North Carolina and serve our community with various activities. Some of them are: Turkish School for our children, Raleigh International Festival, and various other activities.
