Echoes of the Silk Road Concert

NC State Turkish Student Association and the Aziz & Gwen Sancar Foundation

What: An evening of live Turkish and Iranian music

Who: A diverse lineup of local and international talent. From Istanbul, we have neyzen (Turkish reed flute player) Burcu Karadağ and kanun (zither) player Serkan Halili. From the Triangle, we will be welcoming pianist Anatoly Larkin and guitarist Alex Gordez.

When: Saturday, December 2, 6PM-9PM

Where: Duke Energy Hall in James B. Hunt Library on North Carolina State University's campus (1070 Partners Way, Raleigh, NC 27606)

Founded in 1987, ATA-NC is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting awareness of Turkish culture and sharing Turkish heritage within the Triangle community and throughout North Carolina.
