Sezen Aksu, known among Turks as the "Little Sparrow" or just "Sezen," is a pop singer-songwriter whose career spans 4 decades and 24 full-length albums. At this special Final Friday event, members of ATA-NC will show short videos and slides about Sezen's life and work before leading a listening party and discussion of some of her most famous songs. English translations of select pieces will be provided, as will light refreshments.

You may bring your favorite Sezen album, a list of songs that you would like to hear or discuss, or an instrument to play live! All are welcome to sing and dance as we celebrate this iconic artist.
