Since ATA-NC is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, we are eligible for donation programs that some companies establish. These programs let customers identify the non-profit organization that the donation will be sent to. This does not involve any additional cost to the customer.
*** Grocer Gift Cards
We are able to sell gift cards and receive 6+ percent of the gift card value for ATA-NC
For example, purchase a $100 Food Lion gift card from us, and use it to buy $100 worth of goods from Food Lion and ATA-NC receives a little over $6.
Very easy, and it adds up fast if we join together.
With this program we are hoping to have a continuous cash flow for ATA-NC. Your participation is crucial for that to happen.
All you have to do is to
use the gift cards you bought from us
when you do your shopping.
We all spend at least $200/month for our groceries, so if 50 of us buy that amount per month,
this means $600+/month income for ATA-NC.
A single member buying gift cards from ATA-NC for $200 of groceries each month would result in over $144 for ATA-NC in a year.
With no cost to you, you can make a significant contribution
which will substantially improve our services at Turkish-House and Turkish School.
On average we spend about $300-$400 for our large events and with this program these expenses could easily be covered.
This is only possible if you participate.
Currently gift cards we have:
Food Lion, Lowe's Food, Kroger, Harris Teeter, Target, ToysRus
Lowe's Food, Food Lion, and Harris Teeter cards are $100. Target and ToysRus are $25, though we can get $50 and $100 cards if requested.
Kroger cards are FREE as you add money to them at Kroger Customer Service. When you finish the money on the Kroger card, you add more money to the card at Kroger Customer Service. The Kroger gift cards you get from ATA-NC are linked to a special Kroger/ATA-NC account.
ATA-NC can get any of the cards at http://giftcards.kroger.com/ if you see others you would like, except VISA, AMEX, MC gift cards.

You can also use your grocer gift card to buy other gift cards sold at your grocery. All four grocers have gift cards for sale.
There are no taxes when buying gift cards, and most never expire (some begin decreasing after 18 months).

2- Choose "Register MVP Cards".
3- Click on "Select Organization" at the next screen.
4- Pop-up window appears (disable pop-up blocker if you need to). Select State: NC, City: RALEIGH, Organization: American Turkish Association of NC. Click OK.
5- At the "Register MVP Cards" window, click "Add MVP Cards" button.
6- Enter your MVP Card number. This is the 12-digit number under the bar code of your MVP Card. Enter Name and Phone number (this is a secure site).
7- Hit "Enter". (Note: This site matches the MVP Card and the name with their records).
8- Registration completed. Thank you.

Even if you don't use your MVP card, your registration will help us reach the necessary number of participants. You can register your MVP card by using the Food Lion web page, or by calling their Customer Relations number.
