ATA-NC Annual Meeting and General Elections were held on Sunday, 8-February-2009.
Dear Members and Friends of ATA-NC ,
ATA-NC Annual Meeting and General Elections were held on Sunday, 8-February-2009. 75 of our members were part of this meeting, 29 attending in person, 46 through their proxies.
At the beginning of the meeting, Arkin Aydin was elected to be the meeting chairperson. Under her supervision, the Annual Activities Report and the Financial Report were read. The 2008 administration was found successful, got acquitted by a voting of the General Assembly, and it was released of duty by the Chairperson.
Due to the fact that the nominations were not more than the number of seats, and since there were no objections for the nominations, the following became the new set of Directors:

We would like to take this opportunity to thank all the members, friends, and directors who attended the General Assembly meeting. Our special thanks go to the 2008 directors who will not be in the BoD this year, Esin Atakturk, Cigdem Yuret and Feyza Guvenc for their valuable contributions to ATA-NC in the past year.
Another new and exciting year is starting and we are looking forward to working with everybody in our community.
